CCPC Staff Celebrates 25 Years

Oakley and Myers

Chester County recognized employees who have spent 25 years working for the county this year — including CCPC's Paul Farkas, Kevin Myers, and Carolyn Oakley. Hired in 1999, these employees have shown true dedication and service to the citizens of Chester County.

As a Senior Review Planner, Paul Farkas plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of CCPC's Design and Technology Division. Under the PA Municipalities Planning Code (Act 247), any proposed subdivision, land development proposal, or ordinance revision is to be submitted to CCPC for advisory review, and Paul's knowledge and expertise over the last 25 years has contributed greatly to the success of this process.

With 15 boroughs plus the City of Coatesville in Chester County, Kevin Myers has a lot on his plate as CCPC's Senior Urban Planner. Thankfully, he's spent the last 25 years learning the ins and outs of the county's urban centers and other areas as well! He's responsible for coordinating CCPC's annual Urban Centers Forum, presenting at different events, working on all sorts of cool projects, attending (a lot of) meetings, and much more.

If you've ever visited CCPC's website (which you should), you'll be viewing the work of CCPC's Communications Supervisor, Carolyn Oakley! With a background in graphics and web design, Carolyn has spent the last 25 years helping CCPC stay in the loop with all things web-based. And if that's not already enough of a job itself, she also works with the admin team (and pretty much every position) to coordinate the posting of events, projects, and other county news and information.

We're so thankful to these long-time employees for their contributions to CCPC, and we look forward to continuing to work with them!
